If the Floor was Lava

With the technological revolution came a problem that mankind never really anticipated or was prepared for.
Cables
lots and lots of cables.

For years we've been finding ways to hide our cables, running them behind desks, putting them in stylish wooden boxes, or practically growing a garden around them. While we really could have written about any of the incredible ways in which we've learnt to hide our shame, we have to give credit to the guys at Bluelounge, who went that extra step and created a charger without a cable. Even though at this point it only applies to ipods and iphones, in a few years when every other competitor has left the market this wont be an issue at all. What's more incredible than the simple concept or elegantly executed design, is the $19.90 price tag, which means not only does this brilliant idea exist, it CAN exist in your own home.

Fantastic news for people like me who have pets that chew cables and aren't immune to electricity.

  1. You should really get your hamsters grounded better if you're worried about them being shocked.
